Kawhi Leonard has a new basketball court in his hometown. The LA Clippers star donated the basketball court at Weston Park in Moreno Valley as part of his ongoing goal of giving back to his Southern California community.
“I wanted to give young people in my hometown a new court where they can come together and play. Moreno Valley is where I grew up and this is just a small way of giving back and creating a healthy place for kids to stay active.” said Kawhi.
The collaboration was with his sponsor New Balance and 2K Foundation, the court is a custom designs by KL2 and Mr. Brainwash. “You Are Stronger Than You Think” is the motto front and center on the colorful cour. Kawhi Leonard’s shoes also feature the City of Moreno Valley official city seal.
