If you’re ever driving between San Francisco and Los Angeles, be on the lookout for Morro Bay. Driving through on State Route 1, it’s about 200 miles north of LA and you can’t really miss it.
Off the coastline sits 575 foot volcanic plug known as Morro Rock and it is a sight to behold! If you’re looking for unique places to play ball, you should definitely make a stop at Coleman Park. With a sweet full length court that is in great condition and a view that is unlike anything you’ll see anywhere else, this court is definitely a spot that could only be found on the west coast.
Get some shots in, have a cool drink and watch the boats float in and out of the harbor. It’s definitely a vacation spot for many, so there are plenty of small shops and restaurants to enjoy while you’re here! And after playing for a couple hours, stick around for the sunset. It’s one you won’t want to miss!
